CATEGORY 01 - 05

T365 Excellence Awards recognise outstanding work across five distinct areas of tourism. Find the category that best fits your work — or submit to multiple with organiser approval.

Category 01

T365 Destination Vision Award

This category honours destinations that demonstrate a clear, ambitious and effective vision for tourism beyond the peak season.
We are looking for destinations that develop market-ready products, build strong cooperation between public and private stakeholders and actively involve local community.
Entries should show tangible progress in creating demand and value during the pre-season, post-season or winter period, supported by measurable results and a credible long-term strategy.

Category 02

T365 Experience Award

This category recognises tourism experiences that successfully combine local identity, responsible development and strong market appeal.
We are looking for creative, authentic, bookable experiences that engage visitors through compelling storytelling while creating value for local stakeholders, producers, communities and partners.
Entries should demonstrate responsible use of cultural and natural resources, a clear connection to place and genuine potential to attract visitors throughout the year.

Category 03

T365 Innovation in Tourism Award

For an innovative product, solution, digital tool, business model or new format that improves tourism operations, destination management or the visitor experience. This category celebrates innovative approach and model that improve tourism operations, destination management or the visitor experience.
We are looking for ideas that respond to a real industry need and demonstrate originality, practical value and clear relevance to users. Entries may include new travel experiences, AI and data solutions, digital platforms, smart interpretation, visitor-management systems or new business models with the potential to grow, scale or be replicated elsewhere. Innovation may be technological, operational, experiential, organisational or commercial.

Category 04

T365 Best Practice Award

This category recognises proven projects, businesses, experiences and initiatives that demonstrate how tourism can operate successfully throughout the year or across an extended season. We are looking for creative, commercially viable and locally relevant approaches that overcome seasonality, build sustainable demand and create lasting value.
Strong entries may stand out through an original business model, a distinctive visitor experience, an inventive use of local resources or a fresh approach that others can learn from. Above all, entries should show measurable results, practical relevance and the potential to inspire tourism businesses, destinations and organisations elsewhere.

Hotels, DMCs, agencies, public institutions, associations, cross-sector initiatives

Category 05

T365 Marketing & Communication Excellence Award

This category recognises marketing campaigns, communication strategies and promotional initiatives that successfully position a destination, experience or tourism product as year-round, sustainable or high-value.We are looking for entries with a clear strategic objective, original creative execution and effective use of channels such as digital media, PR, content, influencers, outdoor advertising, events or partnerships. Campaigns should demonstrate measurable impact through reach, engagement, bookings, media value, brand perception or stronger off-peak demand, and must have been active within the past 24 months.

T365 Grand Honour

The highest T365 recognition — presented at jury discretion to the entry that most convincingly advances year-round, sustainable and high-value tourism and sets a new benchmark for the sector. Selected from category winners.

* T365 Future Talent Award (Student Hackathon) is assessed separately and is not part of the public call for entries.

Entry Requirements

  • Entry must be submitted in English
  • Project/campaign must be active or launched in the last 24 months
  • Must be directly connected to tourism or destination development
  • Must contribute to year-round, sustainable or high-value tourism
  • Applicant must provide description, objectives, results and visual material
  • Same project may be entered in one category only
  • Shortlisted applicants expected to attend Awards Night in Zagreb
  • Organiser may reassign entry to more appropriate category
