Paco Wrolich has been Cycling Coordinator at Kärnten Werbung, Carinthia’s regional tourism board, since 2011. His work connects cycling with tourism development, bringing together the needs of riders, destinations and tourism partners to strengthen Carinthia’s appeal as a cycling destination.

A former professional cyclist with Gerolsteiner and Milram, Paco competed in five editions of the Tour de France, achieving a second-place stage finish in 2005, and represented Austria at the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games.

Combining elite sporting experience with more than 15 years in destination tourism, he brings a practical perspective to the Tourism365 panel on how cycling and outdoor events can attract visitors, support local partnerships and generate tourism demand beyond the main season.
