Helena Matuša is the Director of the Entrepreneurial Center of Krapina-Zagorje County, where she works at the intersection of entrepreneurship, investment, innovation and regional economic development. Her focus is on building practical support systems that help companies grow, innovate, access finance and new markets, and strengthen their long-term competitiveness.
Under her leadership, the Entrepreneurial Center has developed and implemented a portfolio of business support and acceleration programmes, working with hundreds of companies, startups, investors, mentors and partners in Croatia and internationally. Her work includes the development of the SPRINT Accelerator, Health IT Academy, Digital Innovation Hub for Health and Medical Informatics, Invest in Zagorje and new programmes focused on impact entrepreneurship and investment readiness.
Helena combines hands-on experience in working with entrepreneurs with the design and implementation of larger development and investment projects. She is particularly interested in turning networks, knowledge and access to capital into concrete business opportunities, while positioning Krapina-Zagorje County as a competitive environment for entrepreneurship, innovation and investment.
