Davor Bruketa

Co-founder and Creative Director, Bruketa&

Davor Bruketa is a brand strategist, designer, entrepreneur and columnist who explores how reputation, culture, technology, and capital shape the future of societies.
He is the founder and majority owner of Bruketa&, an independent brand, design and communications consultancy based in Zagreb, Croatia.

Over the past three decades, he has advised leading companies, institutions and public initiatives across Southeast Europe on branding, transformation, innovation and growth. He co-founded Bruketa&Žinić&Grey, one of the most internationally awarded agencies in the region, which later became part of WPP. In 2026, Bruketa led the company’s return to independent ownership under the name Bruketa&.

His work has been featured in international media including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Forbes, Dezeen and Design Boom, and exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale and Red Dot Design Museums. He has served on juries of major global creative competitions including Cannes Lions, D&AD, ADC New York, Red Dot and New York Festivals.

Beyond design and communications, Bruketa has contributed to public institutions and national identity projects, including the branding of Croatia. He is an associate member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts and writes a weekly column on culture, design, business and society.

His work focuses on how organisations, cities and countries create long-term value by shaping the way they are perceived and understood.
