Dr. Rafaela Rica is a distinguished business leader and advocate for women’s entrepreneurship, gender equality, and youth empowerment. She holds a PhD in International Economic Relations from the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland (2023), with a research focus on women’s entrepreneurship in Albania.

As the founder of Iceberg Communication, one of Albania’s most innovative advertising and communications agencies, Rafaela has led numerous high-profile branding and marketing initiatives for cities and destinations, helping elevate their international visibility. She is also the co-founder of Iceberg Exhibitions, the organization behind Tourism & Travel Show Albania, one of the region’s largest tourism fairs.

With extensive experience in the tourism industry, Rafaela specializes in premium tourism development and event-driven destination marketing, combining strategic brand creation with impactful experiential initiatives. She is recognized as the second most influential figure in New Europe by Kongress Magazine, reflecting her leadership and influence in shaping the region’s business and cultural landscape.
