Miroslav Laslo Borshosh

Minister of Tourism, Bulgaria

Miroslav Laslo Borshosh (на български: Мирослав Ласло Боршош, born 8th December 1972) is a Bulgarian entrepreneur and politician with many years of experience in the cultural sphere and management.

He graduated from “Cultural Studies” at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. From 2000 to 2001, he served as Parliamentary Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria.

He was the Director of the National Palace of Culture /2014-2017/. During this period, Borshosh modernized and reformed the National Palace of Culture, turning it  into a key venue for cultural events and forums.

In 2021, he became Deputy Mayor of Sofia Municipality in the direction of “Culture, Education, Sports and Youth Activities” having an important role in the development of Sofia’s cultural and youth policies. Municipal councilor in the Sofia Municipal Council as well as Chairman of the Committee on Education, Culture, Science and Cultural Diversity since the local elections in 2023.

He has been serving as Minister of Tourism since January 16, 2025.
