🎓 Open to student teams from faculties of tourism and hospitality across Europe!

As part of the 9th International Conference TOURISM 365, we are proud to launch the 1st International EU Tourism Hackathon – a unique opportunity for students to actively shape the future of tourism in Europe!

The Theme: Year-Round Tourism – Sustainable, Smart & Resilient
How can we develop innovative ideas, business models, or digital solutions that encourage tourism beyond the traditional peak seasons, benefiting both destinations and communities?

 

Who Can Apply:

  • Teams of 3 students (undergraduate or graduate level) or individuals from tourism, hospitality, business, or related fields
  • Supervised by a faculty mentor (optional)
  • English-language proficiency required

 

What to Expect:

  • A 1 day Hackathon guided by leading international tourism experts and mentors
  • A real-world challenge introduced by industry professionals
  • Opportunity to pitch your solution to an international jury of tourism leaders
  • Full access to the 3 day TOURISM 365 Conference programme and networking events
  • A chance to win the EP-sponsored scholarship and other valuable awards!

 

What’s Covered:

– Accommodation for 2 (to 3) nights
– Local transportation in Croatia during the event
– Meals and refreshments during the event
– Travel to Croatia is self-organised and at the teams’/individuals` own expense

 

Key Dates:

  • Application deadline: August 30, 2025
  • Notification of selection: September 10, 2025
  • Hackathon & presentation: September 29 – October 1, 2025
