Leila Krešić-Jurić, Executive Director of the European Health Tourism Industry Summit

Tourism influencer faithful to excellence, inspired by sustainable growth and circular economy, enthusiastic in connecting people and leaving a footprint on the global tourism sector. As a corporate manager by profession and traveller by an inner call, Leila is still fascinated with tourism, the most inspiring industry in the world. She is experienced in public and private sector, with expertise in tourism trends and new business developments, and a major focus on Hospitality, Health Tourism, Sharing Economy, Human Resources and Corporate Administration. Leila spent many years as Tourism Department Director at the Croatian Chamber of Economy representing fourteen national business associations, organizing executive education and events aiming to boost competitiveness and service quality. Besides strengthening international partnerships and affiliations, she got involved in several projects initiated by the European Commission, while as a Member of the Tourism Committee at the Croatian Parliament, she actively worked on sectorial strategies, policies and legislation. Leila has been recently appointed Executive Director of the European Health Tourism Industry Summit at the HTI Conference, the leading European initiative promoting health tourism. She speaks five languages and is currently enrolled in the GEMBA at the Hult International Business School.
