Ivana Budin Arhanić

Management Board Member, Valamar Riviera

Ivana Budin Arhanić graduated with a degree in Economics from Middleburry College in the USA and spent three years as a strategy management consultant in Boston and in New York. In 2003, she joined Lura d.d. in Croatia, where she led the expansion of Lura group in the region.

After receiving her MBA degree from Harvard Business School in 2007 she joined Valamar where she has since held senior executive positions driving growth and development of Valamar into the largest tourism company in Croatia. Since 2022, she has served as a Management Board member of Valamar Riviera d.d. where she is responsible for business development, digitalization, quality management, sustainability, and corporate communications.

Ivana Budin Arhanić actively contributes to the development of the business and tourism sector and to public dialogue through participation in numerous professional institutions, associations, and national bodies such as the Croatian Tourism Association, Croatian Employers’ Association (HUP), Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) and Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development (HRPSOR).

Throughout her career, Ivana Budin Arhanić has stood out as an advocate for sustainable and responsible tourism development that creates value for local communities, the economy, and overall quality of life in Croatia.
