Vedran Štajdohar

Unformal educator, Association Mladi u fokusu (Youth in Focus)

Vedran Štajdohar began his youth work journey in 1997 as a volunteer in a scout organization. Since then, he has continuously advanced his skills through non-formal learning methods and tools.

Since 2012, Vedran has been actively engaged in international activities with young people, designing programmes and workshops within the Erasmus+ framework. In 2017, he started his path as a trainer of youth workers and has since developed more than 20 training programmes aimed at equipping youth workers across Europe with innovative tools, methods, and approaches for their daily work.

As part of a European consortium, he has contributed to the creation of over 10 new tools and methodologies for non-formal education. His specialty lies in gamified methods, always seeking to make learning engaging, fun, and impactful. Vedran’s main areas of focus are environmental issues, sustainability, and fostering active participation of young people in social and political life. Although he holds a background in computer sciences, his true passion and lifelong drive remain rooted in youth work.
