Nikolina Brnjac
Minister of Tourism and Sport of Republic of Croatia
During the presidency of Republic of Croatia of the Council of the European Union she held the position of State Secretary in Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and ministre délégué.
She obtained the academic degree of Doctor of Science in 2009 by defending her doctoral dissertation entitled “Identification of relevant criteria for defining a network of intermodal terminals“ at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb.
From 2017 to 2019, she held the position of State Secretary for Transport in the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia, where she coordinated the drafting of several draft laws in the field of transport.
Between 2002 and 2016, she worked as an assistant professor and associate professor at the Faculty of Transport Sciences in undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies, and as the head of the Intermodal Transport Department.
She was elected vice president of the Intermodal Trade Union of Transport and Logistics at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and an expert evaluator for the European Commission, DG Research and Innovation in the Transport and Logistics Sector.
