Nenad Nizić, owner of the hotel Vestibul Palace

Nenad Nizić was born in 1960 in Split. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Split. After starting his career in accounting and finance, in 1990 he established his own company and in 2005 he opened the hotel “Vestibul Palace” in the heart of Diocletian’s Palace in Split.

He is a member of the Council of the “Tourist Board of the City of Split”, a representative of the City of Split at the “Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board”. He is a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Economics in Split. He is the initiator of founding and president of the group of unique luxury hotels in Croatia “STORIES – Croatian Unique Hotels”.

Design Hotel “Vestibul Palace” is member of the elite hotel chain “Small Luxury Hotels of the World”. The first international recognition hotel has achieved in 2010 when it was listed by renowned “The Sunday Times” on the top 100 hotels in Europe list. In 2013 the leading and oldest tourist guide “Fodor’s Travel” listed it as one of the 100 best hotels in the world.
The most admirable awards came in 2015 when “Conde Nast Traveler, the world’s most prestigious journals for travel, incorporates the hotel “Vestibul Palace” among the top 100 hotels in the world, the top 25 hotels in central Europe and 10 of the world’s best hotels.
Vestibul Palace Hotel is also recognized by many of domestic awards, such as “Anton Štifanić 2011” and Croatian Tourist Board award for extraordinary contribution in tourism in the Republic of Croatia. Special recognition by the Croatian Tourist Board and Croatian Chamber of Economy for Quality in Hotel Year Selection were won in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 and “Adrian 2011” for the best small and family hotel in the Republic of Croatia.
