Jelena Holenko Pirc holds a Master degree in Tourism economics from the Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality since 2010. He is a licensed tour guide and guide interpreter.
She is a passionate lover of the region in which she grew up – Gorski kotar and is actively involved in tourism since graduating from college. In 2017, she opened a creative travel agency “Lynx and Fox”, specializing in tours of Gorski kotar. By her activities at social networks, on which she is followed by more than 20.000 people, and media appearances she promotes and encourages the development of the area.
She is the first tourist guide in Croatia appeared as a TEDxZagreb speaker. She is the creator of the training “Kako pozicionirati i prodati turistički obilazak uz vodiča? by Lynx and Fox” (How to position and sell a guided tour? By Lynx and Fox), which is intended for all guides who want to apply the example of good practice in promoting destinations and creating their own tours. As an organizer of tourism tours in nature, she holds the HGSS certificate and HGK certificate for safe performance of activities in adventure tourism. She is also a head of her tourist office.
She is engaged in hiking and cycling and spends her free time actively with friends and family in nature.
