Jadranka Gojtanić, Director of the Tourism and Organizational Development Sector, Apsolon

Jadranka is experienced advisor in the field of tourism development and hotel management. Her rich career includes various strategic development projects for destinations and hotel projects, but also operational positions in sales and human resource management. She has gained experience in strategic destination and tourism products planning, as well as operational marketing plans for hotel companies as member of Horwath HTL team and Roland Berger team. As an independent entrepreneur, she developed sales and marketing projects for the largest hotel companies in Croatia and development plans for tourist boards. She built her operational experience in tourism by managing the sales department at Generalturist, once the largest travel agency in the area, then by leading key clients at Falkensteiner Hotels & Resorts, and by creating a new type of educational program at Valamar Riviera.

Growing up on the island of Lošinj, tourism has always been an indispensable part of her life, so her goal is to contribute to the highest quality and meaningful development of sustainable tourism and the improvement of coexistence in the community.

As a key expert, today she participates in the two-year Interreg project “SmartMed – Empower Mediterranean for SMART Tourism” led by the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Croatia, and includes six partner countries.

Jadranka is just finishing her Executive MBA studies at the International IEDC School in Bled.
