Ivana Novoselec, Smart Governance Director, Apsolon

Ivana manages the smart administration department in Apsolon. She has 17 years of experience in strategic and project planning and development of institutional capacities in the public sector, particularly in EU funds management and smart cities development.

She supported a number of cities and other forms of public administration in their strategic development planning – including Osijek, Koprivnica, Sveta Nedjelja, Krk, Supetar, Vukovar, Istrian County, Bjelovar-Bilogora County, Zagreb County, and many others.

She was state administration consultant for the development of capacity in the EU funds management, in Croatia, Serbia, and Montenegro. Ivana provided support to the Croatian state administration in the development of operational programs in the area of cross-border cooperation (2007-2013, 2014-2020) and the implementation of regional competitiveness operational programs, ie cohesion and competitiveness (2007-2013, 2014-2020) and numerous public and private institutions in their strategic and project planning, programs, and projects evaluation. She held numerous educations on the administration’s management development and digital transformation.

Ivana holds a Master’s degree in European studies at the University of Cambridge.
