Dragan Kovačević

Vice President for Agriculture and Tourism at Croatian Chamber of Economy

He graduated in 1992, had a master’s degree in 1994 and had Ph.D. degree in 1997 at the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology in Zagreb. He is the author of four University textbooks and two scientific monographs and has published over 140 scientific articles. He has received numerous awards for his scientific and professional work, as the National Award for Science 2014 and the HAZU Award for the highest scientific and artistic achievements in the Republic of Croatia for 2015 in the field of Technical Sciences. He was the head of the Office for Reconstruction and Development of the Osijek-Baranja County, twice he was a parliamentary deputy and chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Economy, president of the IPK Osijek Board of Directors, state secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, and a professor at the Faculty of Food Technology in Osijek
