Blendi Klosi, Minister of Tourism and Environment of Albania

Blendi Klosi was born in Tirana on 17.01.1971. He is married to Mrs. Nora Klosi (Gega). They have two children, Aron and Ambla.
Mr. Klosi graduated in the field of Electronic Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tirana (1988- 1993), where he was later engaged as a lecturer.
Mr. Klosi has held the position of Head of Sector at the Center for Electronic Design Studies (1994-1996).
In 1996 he served in the Council of Ministers initially with the DPA and as assistant to the Prime Minister.
The political activity of Mr. Klosi is rich in important commitments as Deputy Minister of Local Government (1999-2001), Chairman of the Committee for Electoral Reform, Minister of State (2002-2004), Minister of Youth, Culture and Sports (2004-2005) Minister of Social Welfare and Youth (2015-2017).
Also, Mr. Klosi is a member of the Presidency of the Socialist Party, where he held the position of the Organizing Secretary in this party (2005-2016).
Blendi Klosi has a long commitment as a deputy, representative of the Parliamentary Group of the Social Party in the 5 legislatures. Currently elected as a deputy in the June 18, 2017 elections, as a representative in the Berat District Assembly.
Mr. Klosi has a very good knowledge of English and Italian.
